Configuration, VPN on Demand

Hi,
Searching around, it seems like this is supposed to work ... but even if I add,
To my opvn (configuration file), and import it to OpenVPN Connect ... the resulting VPN connection does not seem to include the Connect On Demand option in my VPN profile (in iOS). I'm running iOS 14.2, so recent / current, and OpenVPN Connect v3.2.2.
Any thoughts? Is this not the correct way to enable this option?
