Feature Request - Key "enter" should be usable in password prompt

If you do not save your password in the OpenVPN Connect client (MAC OS X), the client asks for it every time. When you enter the password, you cannot confirm it with Enter. This is especially not good if you have to attach a 2FA code that is time-limited.

I totally agree with this. It is common thing in any app or form. In OpenVPN you have time limited 2FA code and you have to write it in time and then clicking the button with mouse. I can't understand why this is still a thing.

Hello MarkusKnaup and veks,

We agree that this should be possible. In a future release we will support this. Interestingly, what we have found is that the normal enter key works, but not the enter key on the numeric pad. But we'll make sure that button works too in a future release - we are aware of this issue.

Kind regards,
Johan

Oh, great. I can use the other Enter for now. Thank you.

Is there an estimate yet for when the numeric keypad "Enter" key will work in the OpenVPN password/MFA screen?

More than a year has passed with several releases, but this annoying issue still persists :( Please make the numeric Enter button functional!
