omit entries from log reports UI

It would be great to have a possibility to omit certain, configurable entries from the log reports in the UI, while leaving the original logfile as is.
Preferably in a way that these entries would never make their way to the report, instead of having to fetch a huge data and then apply an exclude type of filtering.
A practical example is to have data collecting in say, every 5 minutes for monitoring (readonly access with sacli Status or similar which results in either XML_API service or empty service tag). This basically renders the report unusable.
There are options to turn some extra debug flags on, but not the opposite - aka excluding typical white noise.
