OpenVPN connectivity issue when using TLS 1.2

Can anyone tell me how to use TLS 1.2 in OpenVPN.
We're using tls-version 1.0 in client side and working fine. If we try to change to tls-version 1.2, it's not working.
We're getting the below error.

SIGUSR1[connection failed(soft),init_instance] received, process restarting
Restart pause, 5 second(s)

Should we change anything in certificate end, if we change to tls-version 1.2 in client side?

Regards,
Palanikumar

you just jump in and bang without give out all info on server config and version? what is point when you only update client and expecting that work out of box ? your server need to update first and client update and then come back here to complaint about not working.
