Upload files to AWS OpenVPN Access Server via WinSCP

I'm trying to follow https://openvpn.net/vpn-server-resource ... tallation/ to move to a different license count but i'm stuck trying to upload the files to the new server. I'm getting a permission denied error when trying to move the BAK files up to the new server. I'm assuming i need to upload them as root (su) but how do you do that with WinSCP? Is there a better way to move these files up to an AWS instance?
