OpenVPN with LDAP

Post by bubunia2000ster » Sun Apr 26, 2020 6:01 am

Hi all,

I want to setup Open VPN between on-premise setup to AWS for REST API execution on a server residing in AWS. The OpenVPN server would be configured in AWS. To save license cost and minimize the tunnel between on-premise to AWS, can i set up a LDAP/AD sessions for each on-premise users(with OpenVPN client installed) to terminate at LDAP/AD server and then there would be a single VPN tunnel between LDAP and AWS OpenVPN access server? If so can some one provide me guidance how it can be done and associated configuration files(at LDAP server) and OpenVPN access server?

Regards
Pradeep

Post by bubunia2000ster » Sun Apr 26, 2020 8:51 am

Hi all,

Can someone help me with above query? Can the open VPN clients/user connections terminate at AD/LDAP and there is a single tunnel connecting from AD/LDAP to AWS open VPN access server?

Regards
Pradeep
