I am setting up remote browser access to web apps using openvpn.

I have pointed the domain name that I want to use to 10.8.0.1 and it is operating as I want it to - resolving when client is connected to the vpn and timing out when the client is not connected.

My questing is about the traffic between the client and the vpn server when the client is connected which is over whatever ISP that any given client is on.

Can I/Do I need to - create my own certificate for this domain so that the browser will make the https connection?

Is the data from the browser to the vpn server unencrypted?

I clearly don't understand much about this.

Thanks.
