This is a followup on the thread i posted previously: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=28360

I am trying to connect to my home LAN from my fathers house (External Network) and was not able to connect to the LAN but OPENVPN showed as being connected. I found out today i was briefly able to connect into my homeLAN as long as i was connected to my fathers network via wifi and not ethernet.

Connected via WIFI
when I type in 192.168.0.1 (When connected to the external network via wifi) my router settings page at home appears. However on 'my computer' i can not see my NAS drive and the synology assisnnat does not pickup the NAS under networks. .

1- how can i overcome the issue of not being able to connect to my homeLAN via ethernet despite OPENVPN showing its connected.

2- once connected (Currently via wifi only), what must i chnage to show my NAS under networks?

I am a newb and would GREATLY appreciate some help.

I am not going to go on about how OpenVPN does not offer support for Winblows networking problems.
