block-outside-dns blocks internet

I hope this is posted in the correct section of this forum.
To prevent a DNS Leak, I added "block-outside-dns" on my WIN 10 client side to prevent a DNS leak. However, when I connect to my home VPN (Hosted on a linux router) with a WIN 10 Client, I lose all connection to the internet. It used to work, but I think since I updated to latest client OPENVPN, it no longer works. It connects fine and issues me an IP address, but no internet. Any ideas on how to fix?
