OpenVPN uses old DDNS IP address

Post by Schuppenzot » Sat Feb 09, 2019 6:32 pm

My server is on a dynamic IP address. The clients use my hostname to connect to the VPN server. Somehow, OpenVPN Connect caches the IP somewhere and uses the old IP. Hence, it doesn't connect anymore.

Clearing the app's cache from the Android settings menu isn't helping. Flushing DNS cache via the Chrome browser doesn't help neither.

IP addresses are correct in the public DNS servers.

Any idea's?

Clearing all app's data solved the issue. But this also means I have to reimport the profiles.
