IOS VPN Slider Connection Fail

Hello,
I'm having an issue where I cannot connect to my VPN via the IOS "Settings" "VPN slider". I can successfully connect via the IOS OpenVPN app. My VPN is hosted on my Synology router and on the failed connections I do not see any incoming attempts. I've re-imported my .ovpn file. Compression is off on the server and app. I have no issues connecting on my mac or pc.
