Hello,

First, thank you for the update. Very nice to see the app getting a major overhaul.

As expected, there are bugs. I've run into some, and so far I've been unable to identify whether they're general bugs or specific to my setup. I'm running this on an iPhone X with iOS 12 beta 4.

- All of my profiles now require "external certificates" to connect from within the app. However, from the Settings > VPN menu, it tries to connect, complains about a lack of a PKI alias and fails. This is where I'm unable to detect if it's my setup causing the problem. The same profiles on Windows, on the same wifi network, connect fine. However, they already caused me intermittent issues on iOS 12 beta before OpenVPN Connect 3.0.

- When I try to connect using Settings > VPN, the status changes to "Connected" nearly instantly, even though it never really connects.

- The app renamed all of my profiles (added via iTunes) to have a "PC " prefixed to their names. Please add a way to disable this behavior.

- Within the app, the list of profiles is not ordered alphabetically anymore.

I am experiencing exactly the same thing as you, and have reported it via TestFlight.

I received a response stating that the issue is on my VPN provider's end (Mullvad), but I'm not sure if that's correct. Using the current public OpenVPN Connect app on multiple devices of mine running iOS 11.4.1, I'm having no problems at all. Same exact Mullvad configuration files and everything.

I agree. Mine are the exact same ones I use on Windows, on another iPhone on iOS 11.4, and on this iPhone on iOS 12 but with the live version of OpenVPN Connect. On Windows and iOS 11 they work perfectly fine, and on iOS 12 with the live version of OpenVPN Connect it works at least part of the time, so I don't see how it's something other than OpenVPN Connect.

Also important to note is that mine are for 3 different providers.. All of them break exactly when I use OpenVPN the 3.0.. But yeah, it's not OpenVPN Connect, it's them.........

Have you reported the issue via Testflight? Reporting the problem there with as much detail as possible is the best in order to get the problem triaged properly.

I'm happy to report that I worked with one of the devs via email after they received my TestFlight feedback about the issue I was having above. We found a solution that will be in the next build!
