OpenVPN On Demand

I have recently set up a PI-Hole with OpenVPN, works perfectly. It also works with an OpenVPN configuration for my iphone, unfortunately it sometimes loses the connection and I have to push it again manually. Now I found on the internet on demand. Unfortunately, I can not find a good guide to set up. can someone help me there?
