OpenVPN Support Forum

I have installed OpenVPN on an android tablet. When I try to import an .ovpn file that I have downloaded from an email, I get the following error:

Failed to import OVPN profile from selected file. Reason: file is binary: /storage/emulated/0/Download/Area-client-phone.ovpn

I have no idea how to continue, I would like some help.

Did you follow the same tutorial as the one mentioned here: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=23065

That tutorial talks about setting up a server on linux. It is not related to an android client installation.

If someone comes in handy, then I ran into the same problem. I solved the problem by transferring the .ovpn file to android via a usb cable. E-mail client during file transfer "cuts off headheads"
