OpenVPN Connect and Siri

Ok, so have searched and found one post asking the same question, but back in 2016, with no responses. I'm hoping this time there will be a different response.
Is there any likelihood of adding Siri integration to the OpenVPN app? Ideally I would ask siri to 'open my home VPN connection', or 'close my office VPN Connection'. The reason I ask is that its a bit of a hassle to swipe several screens, open a group of apps, find the OpenVPN connect app, simply to have to swipe a toggle switch, since iOS doesn't provide a native shortcut to VPN's.
If Apple could add a shortcut to VPN in the iOS control panel, that would be an alternative, but that seems to be relatively unlikely to happen.
