The Android app update today broke my connection to my OpenVPN 2.3.x server running on Ubuntu 14.04

Updating the OpenVPN server to 2.4 resolved my issue.

Here's how to get the latest server:

Does no good if you're OpenVPN server is baked into your router, until a new firmware is released! It's unacceptable that they would release a client that breaks with existing baked router servers!

I'm using the new Netgear Nighthawk X10 and was very happy with my Android client VPN connection. Then they fix an issue with older server versions, but break it for the newer ones????? WTF?
