Unable to connect with OpenVPN connect with ECDSA certificates

Hello,
I was experimenting with ECDSA certificates and managed to generate server and client configs (commands used here https://github.com/alimakki/streisand/b ... s/main.yml).
Desktop clients (tried with Visconsity, OpenVPN GUI, and CLI client) all work fine, however OpenVPN connect on iOS is a no go.
Are ECDSA certificates unsupported on mobile? If so will there be support down the line?
