"comp-lzo" vs "compress"

Hi there,

just a short question:

As I understand "comp-lzo" alone has "adaptive" as default value. So if I set "compress lzo" for example...does that mean the compression is always on or in adaptive mode?

So...does "--compress lzo" equal "--comp-lzo"? If not...how to set the adaptive mode using "compress"?

Thanx in advance!

Cheers,

No .. --compress lzo = --comp-lzo yes

According to the manual .. you can not.

See --compress & --comp-lzo in The Manual v24x

Thanks for the confirmation - that's what I thought first.
