Connect using WiFi

I have noticed that when connecting to my OpenVPN server all data is routed through cellular data and never WiFi. I am using the Droid Turbo running android 6.0.1 if that is useful.

I noticed the same thing today when I got a sudden notice that I was almost out of data. Went from having almost 7GB two days ago to having .66GB today
. Anyone know how to force it to only use Wifi?? Otherwise its useless to me because I don't have unlimited data.

Connect to wifi and disconnect/disable cellular ..

So there's no way to have the app recognize when wifi is reconnected & automatically switch back to that? I have to manually change things around every time?

Sounds like a setting on your phone ..
