OpenVPN Support Forum

i have installed ovpn spider on my fire stick along with open connect, all seems to work OK. I tested the link with ip/dns leak and it appears I leak both 'to' my isp. Is this correct?, how can I test and monitor my vpn for activity etc. over the tunnel and how can I fix these perceived failings. Many thanks in advance, I have tried some network monitoring apps but they all seem to not be able to monitor the vpn link successfully

What VPN provider are you using, and what DNS have you got set? For security you should be inheriting DNS from your provider, not setting your own. Windows can leak DNS but Linux, BSD and Mac OS X don't
