When using OpenVPN and disconnecting to use my regular internet connection, the config for the LAN connection is changed to a static IP address and DNS. I want to revert back to my regular settings when not using OpenVPN, "obtain ip address" and 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 DNS address.

I think you use dynamic IP address. It changes every time when you connect to the net. But when I set up my router using a static IP address, I lost the possibility to connect to the internet with the wirless laptop. And I can't find any solution.
