exception in transport_recv_excode: PolarSSL: SSL read error

Hello,

can't connect to my vpn server using my iPhone 6 Plus since 9.1 and 9.2 too. I thought that the problem was on the vpn server side. But I was very surprised when my colleague has successfully connected to it without any issue with same certificate using his android-gadget. So the problem is only with ios and ios version of OpenVPN client.

The error message: Client exception in transport_recv_excode: PolarSSL: SSL read error : SSL - A fatal alert message was received from our peer

Already tried reuploading certs, .ovpn and auth.cfg. Same.

What can I try to do and/or is it possible to fix this error?

I think this project OpenVPN for iOS is on hold, no updates since Sept. 2014, I'm still holding on to 8.4 to connect to my DD-WRT OpenVPN router
