Connecting through proxy with UDP as protocol

Hi,
I have read in the "How to" document that for connecting to server via HTTP proxy requires TCP as the protocol. My configuration requires UDP as protocol, but i am behind a Enterprise proxy. How could i able to tunnel the proxy? Could proxies like SOCKS will work instead of HTTP for UDP protocol? Please guide me. Thank you.
