OpenVPN Support Forum

I've noticed that after I lock my iPhone, my VPN connection will be severed until I unlock my phone again. Is there a way I can make it so that my connection is continuous and won't break when I lock my phone? I know it disconnects to conserve battery but I think that I could make the decision whether I would like to "waste" battery life or not. I wouldn't consider it a waste! I've tried seamless tunneling but it still disconnects after locking. If you have any information that could be of assistance that would be great.
