Troubleshooting OpenVPN Connect on Mac - Console not helpful

Hi All. Not sure if this is the right forum but I don't see a separate one for the "OpenVPN Connect" GUI client for Windows or Mac and searching for openvpn+connect+mac threw an error about the search terms being too common. Anyway...

I am no longer able to use the OpenVPN Connect client downloaded directly from the Access Server to connect to a VPN. The OS X log console doesn't contain much good information... Is there a way I can put the client into debug mode or something to get more verbose logs from it? The most recent change to my system was installing Apple's Yosemite 10.10.3 upgrade though I have no idea if that is related because I didn't use any VPNs for the last few days. Any advice for troubleshooting this is very much appreciated.

Environment:
Mac OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.3
OpenVPN Connect 2.0.9.201

Repro steps:
* Launch OpenVPN connect
* Click the Menu Bar icon
* Select Connect…
* Enter the OpenVPN server’s IP address in the “OpenVPN - Server” dialog, then click “Connect”
* Enter the Username and Password in the “OpenVPN - Login” dialog, then click “Connect”
* Enter the Google Authenticator code in the “Authentication” dialog, then click “Continue”
* The “OpenVPN - Login” dialog is immediately returned with no user feedback or notifications shown.

The OS X console contains only the following logs:

While it doesn't help with the root issue of enabling better logging, we were able to track the root cause of this problem down to a problem with the NTP config in the AS appliance. Because of the clock skew the Google Authenticator token was getting rejected with no useful feedback in either the logs or in the OpenVPN Connect UI.
