Privacy working with private laptop at work

Hi,

While I'm at work, I usually use my private laptop (because it has W7) instead of the Apple computer of the company I'm working. I recently installed the OpenVPN in this private laptop, and my question is: does the IT engineers see what I'm surfing on my private laptop while I'm using the VPN network? I'm afraid that if I open sports or adult pages they would see it and report it.

For more information, the laptop is connected by wire in the network of the company I'm working with. Would be different with Wi-fi?

Thanks a lot and regards

The VPN is point2point server/client .. all packets between the two are encrypted when passed over the VPN (provided you set it up correctly) .. the default settings will use Blowfish-CBC encryption cipher.

Traffic,

Sorry, I am not that of an advanced user, could you be so kind as to explain it in more plain words...

So, what exactly I have to do to have my information encrypted to my the router.

Thank you very much!
