OpenVPN Support Forum

want to setup openVPN server on W8 and connect my laptop w8 through that server
Main reason is to bypass geolocaltion and to give more security in public wifi

is there some easy HOWTO to follow?
trying to follow http://openvpn.net/index.php/open-sourc ... ml#install
but there are some blank spaces and confusing stuff (at least for me)

Here is what i have done

1. downloaded openvpn-install-2.3.6-I001-x86_64.exe
2. installed it its working
3. so next step should be Generate the master Certificate Authority (CA) certificate & key?

init-config is unable to copy file it gives access denied
probably it is some windows permission issue how i can allow?

Yes .. windows permissions ..

When starting any program which you need to have elevated privileges for:
always <right-click> "run as administrator" .. no matter even if you are logged on as an admin.
