Connection Timeout

Hi, I've been trying to get vpn to work at school so i can bypass the wifi and play an app that is being blocked. I know most of you will say "it's blocked for a reason." But seriously it's not like I'm going to actually pay attention in class anyway.
The vpn works at home just fine, even many other apps. I use vpngate.net and openvpn connect on my iPhone 4S with ios 8.1. I've tried using many different coutries or whatever on vpngate but none of them work at school

yeah it doesnt at all. I've tried a bunch of vpns nothing works

Do they connect at all, or do they just fail?
It probably filters the port you are trying to use.
