In Settings I have another VPN of Cisco IPSec type configured. As soon as I have this, OpenVPN never opens. It immediately crashes. As soon as I delete the mentioned VPN profile from Settings, OpenVPN starts working again.

Here is some crash related information:

I can send a complete crash log to whoever is interested. Developers: you can then use this crash log with your dSYM file.

could you please file a trac ticket instead? do that at https://community.openvpn.net
using the same login and password you used for here.

I found out with a friend this a jailbreak-only issue. Although I consider to be important, do you still want a bug report?
