error creating HKLM\software\openvpn-gui key

I am new to using vpn software, i installed openVPN on a laptop with Windows 8. Launching the OpenVPN GUI, I get an error message: Error creating HKLM\software\openvpn-gui key. Has anyone seen this and know how to resolve? Thank

You must Openvpn-GUI -> "Run as Administrator"
