Remote file browser?

I've got an OpenVPN tunnel working on my KitKat Android 'phone. I can telnet into my DD-WRT router OK, so I guess it's pretty well there.
I want to be able to browse files on my media NAS which is connected to the DD-WRT router. How would I be able to do this, please? Is there an Android file browser app that will show the VPN tunnel, as well as local files?
I'd be grateful for some pointers, please!
Jim

Using what protocol ? Is it microsoft windows networking by any chance ...
Any sort of protocol that works, though I use SMB for accessing from XBMC on a Rasberry Pi (but maybe I'm not completely understanding your question).
I've got a 8 Gig Motorola Moto G, which hasn't an SD card. Because it has limited storage, I want to be able to stream music from my home network NAS media server to my 'phone (at least for now).
Thanks for the reply.

I may need to have a deeper look at my set-up. Whilst I can currently telnet into my router, I can't access the LAN behind it. I'll go over to the DD-WRT forum and seek advice there.

Turned out to be easy!
The 'push' line in my server config was wrong. Once I'd fixed it I could 'see' my network behind the router, and access it with an Android file browser, Chrome web browser and SMB client.
Thanks to the nudge in the right direction!
