Error box on computer startup - openvpn install bug?
For the past several months, with at least 2.3.3 and 2.3.4, I was getting an error box re OpenVPN on computer startup. It was something neither my VPN service nor other forums had been able to figure out. Since I don't see a way to attach screenshots here, see http://tinypic.com/a/376s3/1 (the longer box is 2.3.4). With Win 8.1, I had installed the x64 version in C:\Program Files, where x64 versions typically go, but apparently it wasn't being detected as such. Finally, today I decided to install the x32 version in C:\Program Files (x86) and the error box disappeared. Uninstalled the x64 version and still no problem (didn't try x64 in x32 location). Have to wonder if there's something wrong about the x64 version install - or if the x64 install is meant for x32.
