'error rendering cert' error while connecting

1. I used existing working OpenVPN client profile (in attachment)
2. Connect using it
3. Got the "error rendering cert" after client cert validation OK.
HTC One, Desire X, OpenVPN 1.1.14 build 56 core 3.0 android armv7a thumb2 32-bit on Android 4.1.1.
Key is revoked but this dos not have effect.

Which mod do you run?
This is a common problem on the Cyanogenmod nightly.

I get this same error. I think there is a problem with the client, and having HMAC (tls-auth) enabled on the server.
I disabled HMAC on the server and removed the TLS cert from the .ovpn connection file, and it got rid of the error. Not everyone has access to their OpenVPN server though.

How did you disable HMAC ?
