OpenVPN Connect: replace connexion with name by new conencti

Good Morning,
I am curently looking into setting up an VPN on our company IPAD, we already have our custom OpenVPN server, and I had a few question about OpenVPN connect.
During the installation our user will recieve and email containing an openVPN configuration file, with the key and certificate directly in the file. For security reason We will limit the vvalidity of the certificate to 2 month (not sure yet). I already have a database and a application, that generate and send new certificate to our user, when they are close to the expiratation date of the certificate.
I was wondering if it is possible to replace a current connection by a new connection when you import a configuration file from email, without having to delete the old one, just import the new one. I want it to be as easy as possible for our user, and I'm pretty much sure that having to delete the old one before installing the new one will be to complicated for some of our user.
Do you know if what I want is possible, if it would be implemented one day or never ?
