SoftEther VPN is an interesting project now that it's finally open source. That said, I would not recommend it over any other OpenVPN client simply because
  • It uses same OpenVPN 2.x / 3.x codebase as the rest of the available OpenVPN clients
  • Due above SoftEther VPN client won't be any more stable or reliable than the other OpenVPN clients
If SoftEther VPN's own protocols are used instead of the OpenVPN protocol then there may be some benefits in using it - depending on the use case of course.

If you are using windows, just use OpenVPN from http://openvpn.net/index.php/download/c ... loads.html
That is what we have been recommending here for years :D
