OpenVPN Support Forum

Hi,
Whenever I try to install OpenVPN, I always get an error that says "an error occurred installing the TAP Device Driver". I ran the file as an administrator, and I looked in the Device Manager, but the TAP driver was not located there, even when I set it to display the hidden items. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit. Help is greatly appreciated.

P.S. I have looked at some other threads, but the results that I located did not work.

I am using the latest version of OpenVPN. When I try to install the TAP driver, it tells me that "devcon.exe failed". I also am unable to add a new TAP driver in the TAP folder.
