PolarSSL error with iPhone / iOS

Getting the following error trying to connect with iPhone to OpenVPN Access Server:

Client exception in transport_recv_excode: PolarSSL: SSL read error : SSL - Verification of the message MAC failed

Connection from desktop clients (MAC OSX) works perfectly fine.

From all the googling this seems to perhaps be something with an out of date PolarSSL library being used on iOS. Is there any plans to update it for the app? Seems like the app is using library version 1.1.6 whereas the latest version is 1.3.1.

This problem was introduced in OpenVPN Access Server 2.0. If you use AS 1.8.5, the iOS client will work fine.
