OpenVPN iphone 5 Connection issue

Hi,
I am having an issue connecting to OpenVPN from my iPhone 5, and I am hoping someone can direct me in the right direction. I have OpenVPN installed on my Synology NAS, and I can connect fine using my PC/MAC and my Andriod phone. On my iPhone, I installed the OpenVPN app, and used file sync in itunes to sync the .ovpn config file and the ca certificate file, and this is what I see:



I click on the + icon and this is what i see:



I go to this screen:



After I enter the user name and paassword, I click on "disconnected", and all it does is go to the "Log" screen and it's blank.

I know there is something wrong, but I'm not sure what it is. The config and ca file I know work, because I took them directly from the PC that connects fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

For what it's worth, this is affecting me too on iOS 7.0.2 on my 5s - it USED to work fine on my 4s on the 7 betas. I'm using a "standard" profile issued from a Sophos UTM, though.

I just don't know if I've used it since the first stable build of iOS 7 came out OR upgrading my handset.. So I can't tell if it's a 7.0-7.0.2 bug, or a 5s bug, but I'm pretty sure it's neither of our configs at fault as it still works great on all my various computers and android tablets.

Bah. I've just seen that it is known not to work on the 5s in another thread due to the 64-bit rebuild. Sorry for cluttering up your thread, if you're using a 5.

I have a 5s as well that it is not working on. Is the solution an upgrade of the app?

5s will require update from the openvpn guys to support the 64-bit o/s.
