OpenVPN Support Forum

First of all this is my first time; I created openvpn server in ubuntu. I used this guide https://help.ubuntu.com/12.04/serverguide/openvpn.htm

Then I created client certs and put them in my windows 7 computer. (before that I created another client certs and used it on another ubuntu computer, it worked. So my sever is working) Then I created ovpn file.
First question is where I put ca.crt and ovpn file?
I putted ca and ovpn files in C:\Program Files\OpenVPN Technologies\OpenVPN Client\etc Then I tried importing ovpn file. Got this error,

AUTHRPC_ERRBACK: ParseClientProfile: multiline var 'ca' not closed out

What this means? How can I correct this?

you had downloaded AS version, please install open source version of openvpn.
