Openvpn compatibility with cisco and others ?

Post by jhautbois » Thu Jul 11, 2013 8:06 am

Hi all,

This question may already have been answered, I did a fast searching and didn't find a clear answer...
I would like to set up a system which would be compatible with a custom openvpn server and with Cisco/Nortel, etc.
I read that some Cisco solutions are SSL-VPN compatible, I think these are openvpn compatible ?
Cisco ASA 5500 for instance ?

My question, more generally, is : if a VPN is said to be SSL-VPN compatible, does it necessarily mean that it is openvpn compatible ?
Who manages certificates ?
Where is the certificate authority ?

Thanks in advance for help, even a good pointer to an online doc may be sufficient :).
