access server setup question

I'm trying to follow the Easy_Windows_Guide for setting up a openvpn windows server. I didn't see any obvious errors until I got to Building Certificates and Keys-3. Client certificates and keys
I was prompted to enter in the DN, type in some 'extra' attributes, a password, and sign the certificate. After typing in 'y', I got this
Certificate is to be certified until Jun 12 01:09:26 2023 GMT (3650 days)
Sign the certificate? [y/n]:y
failed to update database
TXT_DB error number 2
unable to write 'random state'
Could Not Find C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenVPN\easy-rsa\keys\*.old
I'm not sure what that error means, but I'm assuming I didn't do something right. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! If there is any other information you need, please ask and I will provide it.
