Hi all,

I am trying to connect to my synology NAS on my home network with the IOS App.

I opened the port on my router and udp port 1194 to my internal IP Address.

I have DDNS set up pointing to my ip address.


I exported the certificate(edit the section with my ddns name and the port number) / uploaded via itunes as directed and click on the on switch on the app.

I also set the timeout on the server-reneg command?(dont recall atm) from 0 to 3600.

It goes through the steps and fails with the error message.
Server Certificate Verification Failed:PolarSSL: SSL Read Error..

It find's my ddns and such is there something i am doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

have you tested that client config with your server from a computer?
