Hi all,

i´m new with VPN (i use it in my company).

I wanted to know how to know if I am surfacing in internet trough my internet connection or trough the VPN, and then how to configure then.

If you are using Access Server, then by default the Access Server will make your VPN client's internet traffic go through the VPN tunnel. To disable this, log in to the Admin UI and go to 'VPN Settings'. Once there, scroll down till you see the section about routing all client internet traffic through the VPN server. Disable that, save and update settings, and from then on, only subnets that you specify in the Admin UI will be routed through the VPN tunnel, and all other normal internet traffic will go through your client computer's standard connection. This is called split-tunnel.

I´m using OpenVPN GUI, so i don´t have those configuration options, Is it possible to do it trough the OpenVPN GUI?

If you are not using the OpenVPN Access Server at all, then you do not have a GUI and everything must be configured through directives in the configuration profiles.

For that I refer you to the open source documentation, see the other forums. This section is for OpenVPN Access Server.

I don´t see other forums... only for Android or Mac
