OpenVPN Support Forum

Hi,
can somebody please help me with this.
I am using windows7 64 bit.

I had this problem with openvpn-install-2.3.0-I005-x86_64

I have just completely removed that and installed openvpn-install-2.3.1-I001-x86_64

I have not yet generated any config files to post.
All other files are as per the distribution.

From a command prompt I do this :-
init-config.bat

edit vars.bat to adapt it to my environment. Nothing changed.

vars
clean-all
vars
build-ca
vars
build-dh
vars
build-key-server dummy

All OK so far.
vars
build-key fred

The output ends like this:-

Sign the certificate? [y/n]:y
failed to update database
TXT_DB error number 2
Could Not Find C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\easy-rsa\keys\*.old

I have seeen a few posts about TXT_DB error number 2 but nothing resolves my problem.

From here on ALL builds give the same error.

All advice appreciated.
