Hi All,

I have downloaded OpenVPN Connect application form AppStore on my iPhone4S 6.1. After importing client.ovpn from privatetunnel.com (also with my corporate VPN server), while connect to vpn through iOS app, I am getting error as "OpenVPN plugin not found".

After checking console logs here what I have got.

I can see two files in my ipa file.
OpenVPN.app
OpenVPNPlugin.vpnplugin

Looks like VPN plugin is not getting installed / registered with iOS. I have also checked same on two other iPhones.

Hi All,

I am able to get rid of this problem. Initially, I downloaded OpenVPN Connect app from iTunes and then copy .ipa file into iPhone Configuration Utility of Mac OS X. If I install app through iPCU, then gets above issue of "Plugin not found" error.

If I install app from iTunes or directly install from App Store of iPhone then able to connect VPN server.

So in short, iPCU is not installing plugin properly. I had faced similar issue with Cisco AnyConnect app few months back.

i have the same issue, i've tried to put the crt and key in the ovpn file but no luck, i get a parsing certificate error...

I think i have to change these lines but how
ca ca.crt
tls-auth ta.key 1
?
