Waiting for this application

Anxiously awaiting this also. Any progress?

There are lots of bad reports about Windows RT - I disagree. For 98% of life I love my surface tablet - does exactly what I want out of a tablet.... EXCEPT I really do need OpenVPN! I use linux based firewalls which run OpenVPN for the VPN. Like those before me, I also 'Anxiously await' this as something available from the Windows App store.

this is the last thing missing for WinsRT. Is there any news on a solution, even if it is a third party solution? It looks like openvpn is open enough to let 3rd party devs make the app for them

I´m searching a possibility to connect my surface rt with my openvpn server. Is there any update of the openvpn client or do anyone have a example how it´s possible to connect to the server?

One would need to port TUN/TAP driver to Windows RT first.
Unfortunately, this requires Windows DDK for RT, which is available to hardware OEM manufacturers only.

Is there still no client for Windows RT?

From the last comment it looks like there will never be one.
