OpenVPN Support Forum

I have AS 1.8.4 installed, which is subsequently providing 1.8.3.337 for my Mac users to download. Since upgrading to Mountain Lion (10.8), my Mac users are getting error messages at shutdown stating that OpenVPN connect is preventing shutdown. I was hoping installing 1.8.4 would provide an updated client software to fix the problem, but it doesn't seem to have done that. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. My computer does shutdown eventually, but I also get the warning and openvpn connect slows down the process by at least a minute.

Needless to say this is very irritating. And it certainly makes me think about switching services.
