OpenVPN Support Forum

Hello,

I am new to OpenVPN and I am trying to set up OpenVPN on Amazon EC2 following the instructions provided on Openvpn.net:

The installation went through alright and my EC2 instance is up and running, however, when I point my browser to the URL provided for my EC2 instance running OpenVPN:

https://ec2-50-112-196-122.us-west-2.co ... zonaws.com

my Safari browser could not connect and timed out. My questions are

1. Is this an issue related to a firewall? Or is it a problem with my installation?
2. How do I go about to find out more information on how to resolve it?

i am having the same problem. did you ever resolve it?

Did you try attaching an Elastic IP to the OpenVPN instance and try connecting to https://<EIP address>?
