My internet facing IP address is going to change. Can anyone point me to the steps I need to take regarding existing certificates? Any server side changes I may need to make? Do I have to generate new client certificates or can I edit the *.ovpn files with the new IP address? Thank you for your help.

depends a little bit on how you have set up your clients and server - but in 99.99% of the cases it's sufficient to just change the IP address in the client .ovpn files.
