VPN won't connect

Hi
Yesterday my VPN disconnected and since then I can't connect again. I thought i may have updated windows so I tried a couple windows recovery but that didnt solve the problem.
When I try to connect I don't get any error messages, the icon just stays the same:
I have tried restarting the computer, running the program as administrator but neither of those worked.
My provider is Intl-alliance. He said the problem is at my end but I'm very bad at computers and he didnt answer any more of my questions so now I'm hoping I can get some help here
